Erik’s Perfect Barbecue Sauce
◦2 (8 oz) cans nsa tomato sauce
◦6 oz can nsa tomato paste
◦3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
◦3 tablespoons Splenda (or about 4½ packets)
◦2 tablespoons maple extract (I used and artificial one that was on plan; it’s called
Mapleine by Crescent)
◦1 tablespoons onion powder
◦1 tablespoons garlic powder
◦8-9 capfuls of Wright's Liquid Smoke
◦2 teaspoons Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle Flavor (makes it just a tiny bit spicy)
Mix all the ingredients together in a saucepan, bring to boil and then simmer for 15-20 minutes. Use as a dip or a coating for on the grill.
