Steak Pizziola
◦lean flank steak, top round steak or beef chuck shoulder steak, any size you want (makes leftovers!)
◦2 teaspoons oregano
◦2 teaspoons basil
◦1 teaspoon black pepper
◦1 teaspoon garlic powder
◦2 teaspoons chopped fresh garlic
◦2 (14.5 oz) cans nsa tomatoes
◦8 oz can nsa tomato paste
◦½ teaspoon nsa chili powder
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a pan with a cover place one can of tomatoes and paste; blend well. Place steak on top of sauce. Add chopped garlic on steak then place the other can of tomatoes on top. Add all the seasonings on top and cover with lid. Place into oven for 1-2 hours. The longer you leave in oven the more the steak gets tender and melts in you mouth. Serve over rice noodles or rice! Enjoy! You must weigh the meat for your proper amount.
You can sub steak with chicken too.
