Guess what Pam is made of? Oil. Since fats and oils of any kind are discouraged, we recommend that you really try to do without them. If you positively MUST use cooking spray, use as little as possible and be sure to wipe off any extra. Truly, in most cases you'll find that a good nonstick pan will do the trick, supplemented with a bit of no-salt-added broth or water-- it just takes a little practice to get the hang of cooking this way.
